Approximately 5 ½ inches wide
Row 1: Ch 17, dc in 4th ch and next 2 chs, *ch 1, skip 2 chs, v-st (dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch, rep from * once more, ch 1, skip 2 chs, dc in last 3 chs.
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, skip first dc, dc in next 2 dc, *ch 1, v-st in v-st,rep from 8 once more, ch 1, dc in next 2 dc, dc in beg ch-3.
Rep row 2 until desired length.
Border:
Ch 1, sc evenly around entire strip, with 3 sc in each corner.
Fasten off, weave in ends.
