This dishcloth is great for anyone who wants to learn to do front post double crochet. It's used on every other row. Remeber for this pattern you'll have to pull the yarn up to the current row you're working on to keep the stitches even.

Worsted weight cotton yarn
Size I hook

FPdc: yo, insert hook in dc below going around the post from right to left, yo, pull yarn through and bring up to current row working on, complete as a dc.

Row 1, ch 27, dc in 4th ch from hook and ea ch across.
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, skip first dc, *FPdc around next dc, dc in next dc, rep from * across, FPdc around next dc, dc in beg ch-3.
Row 3: Ch 3, turn, skip first dc, dc in ea st across and in beg ch-3.
Rep row 2 & 3 until desired size (I make a square) end with row 2.

Boarder
Ch 1, sc evenly around with 3 sc in ea corner.

Fasten off, weave in ends.
